Why we started
Policy Iris was founded by Abhijit Pal, FIAI, FIA, an actuary with about 20 years in life and health insurance. Over that time, one pattern kept coming back: people paid premiums for years without knowing what their policy promised, what it left out, or which amounts were guaranteed.
The information is all there, in the policy document. It's just written for lawyers, not for families. Policy Iris reads it for you and explains it in plain words, with the page each fact comes from.
What we believe
- Explain, never sell. We don't earn commission or recommend products.
- Show the source. Every fact links to its page, so you can check it.
- Admit doubt. If we're not sure, we say so and a person checks.
- Your data is yours. Stored in India, deleted when you ask.
